 Overview
I was tasked with creating packaging design for Ear Buddies, a sleek new line of
earplugs designed for all-day use—whether at concerts, at work, or during sleep.

Developing the BrandWhilst developing the brand for Ear Buddies, I focused on capturing the essence of a 24-hour companion—not in a literal (physical) sense, but within the emotional comfort a "buddy" provides.

I aimed to visualize the feeling of sound as a supportive presence, using sound waves as a central motif to reflect the brand's core: comfort, clarity, and all-day companionship.




Ear Buddies: The Goal
 After the mastering the main concept of the brand, it helped me understand the task of creating:
— Differentiation: highlight all-day use, sustainability, and “Made in America”
quality to differentiate Ear Buddies from competitors.

— Market Infiltration: position Ear Buddies as the trusted
brand for hearing protection and lifestyle support across a broad age range.

— Shelf Impact: create eye-catching packaging and branding
that clearly conveys the brand’s core values.




Assets and Color:When selecting colors and creating assets, I created Bare Green, Loud Pink, Basic Blue, and Golden Yellow to reflect the brand's personality.

When choosing the main pattern for the packaging, I decided to use the patterns of waveforms and halftones to visually reinforce the concept of sound as a constant companion throught the design of the box.
